Lanyard Rental Program
The Lanyard Rental Program, offered in partnership with U of T’s Sustainability Office, helps reduce single-use waste by promoting the reuse of lanyards at campus events.
Rental Details
- Cost: $0.25 per lanyard (fits a 4” x 3” badge).
- Booking: Requests must be submitted at least 10 business days before the event.
- Pick-up & Return: Lanyards must be collected and returned on the confirmed date and time.

Weekdays, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.


Return Instructions
- Return lanyards in the provided container.
- Remove all name cards from plastic holders.
- Bundle lanyards in groups of 10.
- The reserving organization/department is responsible for returning all lanyards in good condition.
- Lost or damaged lanyards will incur a $1 replacement fee per lanyard kit.
Event Support with Ambassadors
Need an extra hand? Campus Event Ambassadors are available to support services such as:
- Stuffing name badges.
- Onsite registration.
- Collecting lanyards from guests.
- Promoting proper waste sorting practices.
