Filming & Photography Services

The University of Toronto’s St. George campus offers a stunning mix of historic architecture, sleek modern spaces and lush green courtyards—making it one of Toronto’s most sought-after backdrops for commercial productions, wedding photos and lifestyle photography.

Campus Events & Conference Services (CECS) manages all filming and photography requests, providing expert coordination, securing approvals and ensuring a smooth experience across eligible campus locations.

Commercial Filming & Location Scouting

With its combination of Collegiate Gothic landmarks, Brutalist buildings, contemporary interiors and expansive green spaces, the St. George campus is a versatile location for any production.

From Convocation Hall to Hart House, Knox College, Myhal Auditorium, and heritage classrooms and labs, CECS helps productions navigate approvals and logistics for filming at some of the university’s most iconic sites.

Drone Permits

Drone use is permitted on the St. George campus with the proper approvals. Operators must follow university safety guidelines and submit all required documentation, including flight details, location maps, and relevant permits.

CECS reviews each request to ensure compliance and a safe filming experience.
