- 300+ centrally shared spaces (classrooms, lecture halls and specialized rooms)
- 4 customizable internal event venues (foyers, atriums, and multipurpose spaces)

- 2 premier conference centres in downtown Toronto
- The historic Convocation Hall

Centrally Shared Spaces & Internal Venues
The St. George campus features more than 300 centrally shared spaces, available once the academic schedule is released (on a three-month cycle). These include lecture halls, classrooms and specialized teaching spaces that can also be reconfigured for events. Visit Learning Space Management to see availability.
In addition, CECS manages four internal event venues—foyers and atriums that can be customized for:
- Poster board displays
- Vendor fairs or recruitment events
- Networking receptions
- Registration and check-in areas
Outdoor Spaces
Bring your event outside with the St. George campus’s landmark outdoor settings—from green courtyards to quads and historic lawns. These spaces create memorable backdrops for receptions, fairs or open-air gatherings right in the heart of downtown Toronto.
Premier Conference Venues
Looking for a polished, professional setting? CECS manages two dedicated conference facilities designed for flexibility and impact:
- The Conference Centre at U of T – Flexible meeting rooms, built-in AV, catering options
- Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus (SRIC) – 8,624 sq. ft. multipurpose room, premium boardrooms, rooftop patios with city views
Both venues are fully accessible, transit-friendly, and equipped with built-in AV and Wi-Fi.
Convocation Hall
A Toronto landmark, Convocation Hall is the university’s most iconic venue. Known for its domed architecture and 1,700+ seating capacity, it hosts major ceremonies, lectures and cultural events.
